A memorial service was held Saturday, March 24, 2018, to honor Helen Hardin Jackson, wife and later the widow of U.S. Senator Henry M. “Scoop” Jackson, reports the Everett based Daily Herald. Helen Jackson, a longtime supporter of the Jackson School, passed away on February 24, 2018 at the age of 84.
In 2008, she made a transformational gift to University of Washington’s Center for Human Rights, which is housed in the Jackson School.
