In Memoriam: Former President of Jackson Foundation Bill Van Ness, Jr. | Seattle Times

Bill Van Ness, Jr., former President of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation and longtime supporter and friend of the Jackson School, passed away on November 27.  Between 1966 to 1977, he worked for U.S. Senator Henry “Scoop” Jackson on the U.S. Senate Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs, and was the architect of of key environmental legislation.
