Jackson School undergraduate Kristy Kwon’s journey started from the UW’s East Asia library as she examined the question of “K-dramas” portrayal of women’s roles in Korean society, leading eventually to a visit to the country that she left when she was six years old.
As Kwon gets ready to defend her thesis in spring 2018, her research has found focus on UW’s homepage as an instance of the student-led research that is carried out in Jackson School.
