Convocation Details
The Jackson School Spring Convocation goes virtual in 2020!

Who
Jackson School Spring Convocation is our departmental graduation ceremony, honoring the achievement of our graduating students in 2019-20. We will invite all students who have graduated, applied to graduate or will apply to graduate for the following quarters:
- Autumn 2019 (December)
- Winter 2020 (March)
- Spring 2020 (June)
- Summer 2020 (August)
Please invite your families and friends to join our virtual celebration!
What to Expect
The ceremony will take place online and will include a video with:
- Final graduation speech by Director Reşat Kasaba
- Distinguished alumni speaker
- Student awards
- Student speakers
- Procession of the graduates
- Live-captioning of event
The website and all videos will be available for up to a year after the ceremony.
How to Participate
You can participate in the event by posting to social media using #JSISgrad. You can also post a text or video message to the UW Alumni Kudos Board and mention the Jackson School in your comments. Family members and friends are encouraged to post encouraging messages to their graduates.
Disability Accommodations

Diplomas
Three to four months after you graduate, your diploma will be sent to the permanent address on record in MyUW at the time of graduation. The name on the diploma will appear as it does on your unofficial transcript found on the MyUW website. To change your address or the spelling/appearance of your name on your diploma, refer to the information on the Office of the Registrar’s website.
