Ph.D. Student Deep Pal published a commentary in The Diplomat on June 27 analyzing the ramifications of India’s failure to secure membership in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).

His article titled “China-India Relations After the NSG Plenary” focuses on the power struggles between the two rising superpowers and the evidence that China’s objection to Indian aspirations of being a bigger player in the global order help explain Mumbai’s recent failure to win membership in the NSG.

Deep is a second year Ph.D. Student at the Jackson School, and an expert on India-China relations.
