Azjargal Amarsanaa, 2021-2022 Fulbright Foreign Teaching Program Assistant, comes to the UW from the Khuvsgul province in Mongolia.

In “From the land of the Reindeer People to Red Square: Teacher brings the Mongolian language to the UW,” about the significance of the teaching of the Mongolian language at the UW for the first time in 15 years via the East Asia Center and its partnerships, 2021-2022 Fulbright Foreign Teaching Language Assistant, Azjargal Amarsanaa, who is teaching the language course, and Managing Director of the East Asia Center, Paul Carrington, are quoted.
