In an article titled, “Statues: Relics representing past and present colonialism and white supremacy,” Associate Professor Christoph Giebel is quoted from his Op-Ed in May 2021, published by the Northwest Asian Weekly, about the big lie of a Volunteer Park plaque.
The park plaque was removed in late summer 2021.
