Professor of International Studies David Bachman, also a China expert, is quoted in an article title “China’s ZTE Seeks to Ease US Export Ban” about the ongoing trade dispute between the U.S. and China. He notes that the U.S. was unhappy with Zhongxing Telecommunications Equipment Corp. (ZTE Corp.), a sentiment that coincides with the broader Trump critique of China’s trade practices.
