Jackson School and Law, Societies & Justice Professor Angelina Godoy, who also serves as director of the UW Center for Human Rights, is featured for the advocacy and research by the Center for Human Rights in an article titled “A Detention Center Exposed” about the human rights abuses in the privately owned and operated Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Washington.
The article was published in the April 2021 issue of Perspectives, the monthly newsletter of the University of Washington’s College of Arts and Sciences.
