Alumna Nicole Einbinder (B.A. ’16) published an article in Narratively titled “He Was Harassed for Wearing a Turban. Then He Built a Global Fashion Brand to Show the World What Sikh Pride Means“.

Einbinder brings the story of Harinder Singh that turned expressions of hate speech directed at him into an entrepreneurial fashion statement.

Nicole graduated from the University of Washington Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Communications (Journalism) and International Studies (General track).
