Want to figure out what you love and what you want to do? We’ve got a course for that! Whether you are a new student, graduating this spring, or want to find a vocation when you enter or return to the professional world, this RELIG 101 course will help you dig into your passions and motivations to make the best of your life. Discover how you can contribute to the world that fits who you are and what you want to become.
Guided by the instructor Jim Wellman, Professor and Chair of Comparative Religion at the Jackson School of International Studies, you will hear from professionals in multiple fields and be encouraged to do informational interviews with people you respect and who have connections to boost your being ready to hit the road running when you earn your degree.
All writing assignments are done in class except for the service project paper, an outdoor adventure paper, and the final paper: Creating the Life You Want.
