Implications of the War in the Ukraine for China (online program)

Educators heard regional expert David Bachman, Henry M. Jackson Professor of International Studies at the Jackson School of International Studies, and former chair of the China Studies Program speak about this current topic in light of China’s perspective, position and strategy.
This program addressed the following questions:
-What are Chinese reactions to the Russian invasion of Ukraine?
-What has China done since the invasion with Russia and with the US?
–Why does it seem that Chinese public opinion is supporting Russia in its war?
-What are the implications of the war in Ukraine for China-Taiwan-US relations?
