Mai’s research focuses on the economic development of Southeast Asia. Specifically, Mai is interested in exploring the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) ‘s role in fostering trade relations and harmonizing national interests to achieve common goals and strengthen regional integration against external challenges.
