Leah Wood

Leah Wood is an MPH/MPA student and FLAS Fellow studying the Khmer language. She is leveraging her fellowship to support study focused on the experiences of Southeast Asian and Southeast Asian American diasporic communities as part of a larger research focus on climate impacts to health for frontline communities on the West Coast of the United States. Her favorite Khmer word is ញញួរ, pronounced “nyuh-nyuer,” which means hammer.
