Kim Alzenki
About
Kim Alzenki is a 3L Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Washington School of Law and a three-time recipient of the Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship.
Driven by her passion for international human rights, Kim has pursued Vietnamese language proficiency through FLAS, allowing her to study both at UW and in Vietnam. This year, she expanded her linguistic studies by beginning to learn Khmer, with the aim of using these skills to better serve the Southeast Asian migrant community.
At law school, Kim serves as Senior Managing Editor of the Washington International Law Journal and is researching legal issues surrounding discrimination against ethnic Vietnamese in Cambodia. Her study of Khmer has become a natural extension of her academic focus, enriching her ability to engage more deeply with these complex legal issues.
