Hui An Huang

Hui An is a graduate of Humanities and Social Sciences specializing in Sociology, Anthropology and Cultural Studies. Her research interests lie in the national identity issues and democratic movements in East and Southeast Asia. In her senior year, she was an exchange student at the National University of Singapore. While there, she studied Thai and had the opportunity to study in the field of Southeast Asian Studies, which deepened her observation of social issues in the region.

Through her research, Hui An hopes to re-analyze the societies in Southeast Asia from a different perspective, giving particular attention to their future development.
