Examines the global political economy of data and artificial intelligence (AI) through a critical lens focused on power and inequality. Explores how digital systems shape the relations between states, corporations, and communities. Uses global case studies to analyze AI geopolitics, digital divide between the Global North and the Global South, automation, and data governance, while imagining more just digital futures.
