The Center for Canadian-American Studies at Western Washington University (WWU), our partner in the federally-funded Pacific Northwest National Resource Center on Canada, is pleased to announce a new team member. Lisl Schroeder joins the Center for Canadian-American Studies as program coordinator. She previously worked for Conference Services at WWU and at Canada House programs on a temporary basis.
Lisl, an Austrian-American, spent her first 25 years in Europe and has also lived and worked in Canada. Before relocating with her family to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, she resided in Washington, D.C., where she earned her M.A. in International Affairs. Lisl’s background is in international education administration and conference planning. She is delighted to join WWU’s Center for Canadian-American Studies to support its growing programs.
