On November 26, current and former Corbett Scholars gathered along with University of Washington administrators and the Canadian Consul General to recognize and thank Gary and Consuelo Corbett for their generosity in funding this program. The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program provides students from Victoria, Vancouver and Seattle the opportunity to spend a year studying across the border and learning about the cultural differences and similarities in this unique Pacific Northwest region.

- The event featured remarks from Robert Stacy, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, along with Consul General Brandon Lee, of Canada.
- Students were able to connect with university administrators and the Corbetts to talk about their exchanges and what they hope to take away from their time across the border.
