Center receives $8,000 gift from the Canada-America Society

The new year was celebrated with a check for just over $8,000 from the Canada-America Society of Washington (CAS). CAS, after closing down this past fall, left the balance in its accounts to the Center. The check was presented to Richard Watts and Nadine Fabbi by Joel Paget, past president of the Society, Brad Vancour, former Vice Chair and Chris Koh, former board member. Resat Kasaba, Director, Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, Kevin Cook, Chair of the Canada Gala and former Political, Academic and Arctic Officer at the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle, and Robert Kerr, Consul, at the Consulate were also in attendance. President Ana Mari Cauce also celebrated with the group.
