May 11, 2017

Nadine C. Fabbi, lead on the IPI Arctic initiative, participated in an all-day workshop hosted by the Association of International Educator Administrators on May 8th, 2017 as part of Week of the Arctic held in Fairbanks, Alaska. The thematic forum titled “The U.S. as an Arctic Nation: Opportunities for Collaboration in Internationalization” was designed to establish awareness and generate interest in the Arctic and Arctic issues among international educators and university leaders. Attendees participated in discussions and planning regarding circumpolar collaboration in education and research. Fabbi shares the outcomes of the discussion on barriers to the incorporation of Local and Traditional Knowledge with her colleagues.
