In June 2008 the Canadian Studies Center held its third Annual Awards Reception at the official residence of the Consul General of Canada, Peter Lloyd, to honor the Center’s Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellows, UW graduate students who have received awards to conduct cross-border research, and undergraduate students who have won Canadian-based scholarships, study-in-Canada awards, and internships.
