Hsin Yi (Winnie) Chen, 2024 Task Force on the Arctic alum, was just accepted to the Global Innovation and Leadership program at Johns Hopkins University.
“After graduating from UW and spending a few years working in Taiwan and Singapore, I decided to take the next step in my career by pursuing a Master’s in Global Innovation and Leadership at Johns Hopkins University. The Task Force on the Arctic course in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies influenced this decision as it sharpened my skills in strategic questioning, critical thinking, and analysis abilities. These skills will be essential as I move forward in this new chapter.”
Winnie Chen was part of the Winter Quarter 2024 Task Force on the Arctic where 12 Jackson School students traveled to Ottawa for one week to visit with scholars, government officials, and Inuit organizations to better understand the current state of the circumpolar region.
