The University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland, sent two delegates to the University of Washington to build exchange opportunities between our two institutions. Soili Nysten-Haarala, Vice President, Research (left) and Mari-Anna Suurmunne, Director, International Relations (right) met with a number of faculty and units at the University of Washington including the Canadian Studies Center, Study Abroad and more.
