: The 8th Annual Symposium of Native American graduate students was held at the UW featuring the work of 10 graduate students. The Karen Capuder (right) served as one of six student presidents as well as as Emcee for the day. Augustine McCaffery, Graduate School (left), served as advisor. A reception followed celebrating Charlotte Coté, American Indian Studies (center) recent promotion to Associate Professor. The Center was a proud sponsor of the symposium.
