28 September 2010 – Whitman College, Walla Walla, Washington
“Challenges and Rewards of a Multidisciplinary Program: Canadian Studies at the University of Washington,” by Nadine Fabbi, UW Canadian Studies Center
Fabbi provided a presentation for Whitman faculty as part of the Center for Teaching and Learning Programs, and held one-on-one meetings with faculty involved in the Canadian Studies Association, to provide insights on how to build a strong and effective Canadian Studies program.

23 September 2010 – Seattle
“Canada-America Society Welcome Reception for Consul General Denis Stevens”
The Center partnered with the Canada-America Society of Washington, Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle, and the Pacific Northwest Economic Region to welcome Canadian Consul General Stevens to the regional community. Stevens provided a brief presentation on the role of the Canadian government in the U.S. and the importance of the Canada-U.S. economic partnership.
