About
Ren is a Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Architecture candidate in the College of Built Environments, interested in cross-cultural urban evolution, community development, and restorative justice for indigenous and oppressed populations. Ultimately, they aim to use form — both natural and contrived — to connect humans back to nature and transform the way we perceive spatial history, use, transition, and potential.
They aspire to collaborate with indigenous, francophone, and minority communities in Quebec, greater Canada, and beyond to promote equity on the global stage. They view the FLAS fellowship as an opportunity for both personal and professional growth, anticipating the chance to expand their knowledge of Canadian indigenous cultures, urbanism, and international affairs.
