Seksan Thongthai

Seksan Thongthai is a 2026 Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) serving as a Thai language teaching assistant at the University of Washington. An English language educator from Lop Buri, Thailand, he brings over nine years of teaching experience to this role, along with a passion for language learning and cross-cultural exchange.

Seksan currently teaches English at Pibulwitthayalai School in Lopburi, Thailand. He holds a Bachelor of Education in English Education from Thepsatri Rajabhat University and a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from University College London. His interests center on foreign language classroom emotions — particularly how anxiety and enjoyment shape learners’ speaking skills.

In Thailand, he has trained teachers and students at both Thepsatri Rajabhat University and Pibulwitthayalai School, and served as an English Skills Trainer at the Human Capital Excellence Center under the Ministry of Education. He enjoys learning new teaching strategies and techniques, and outside the classroom he is an enthusiastic street photographer.
