The Design in Taiwan 2026 Study Abroad Program will take place from August 23 to September 12, 2026 in Taipei, Tainan, and Taichung, three major cities in Taiwan. The program focuses on innovative approaches to sustainability, craft, and wellness.
We are excited to partner with two leading universities in Taiwan: National Taiwan University (NTU) and National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). At NTU, the #1 university in Taiwan, you will collaborate with students from the D-School on creative projects and visit museums (e.g, Palace Museum), Taiwan Design Research Institute, design studios (e.g., Dot Design), pottery museum, and tea farms. At NCKU, you will collaborate on design projects with students from the Industrial Design program and the Institute of Creative Design, explore Taiwan’s oldest street, and, of course, enjoy some of the best Taiwanese food and time at the beach.
