An info session on the Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship will be held on January 18th from 5 – 5:30pm Pacific. Past scholarship recipients will share their experiences, and general information will be shared regarding the two scholarships. Please RSVP before January 14th, Webex meeting information will be sent via email following registration.
The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship is tailored for students who wish to focus exclusively on the study of Chinese language. Recipients of this scholarship will be given a stipend of NT$ 25,000 (approximately US$800) per month for 2, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months of study at a university-affiliated language center. Please note that the 2 month scholarship is reserved for a Summer Course in either June-July or July-August, 2021. Applicants must also apply to the language center of their choice.
This program is sponsored by the Taiwan Ministry of Education, and for Washington state applicants, is administered by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco. Please refer to their website for all details and inquiries.
