[In the Media] James Lin on Taiwan’s position in China Rising podcast

Assistant Professor James Lin, a historian of modern Taiwan and Associate Chair of the UW Taiwan Studies Program, was recently quoted on the podcast China Rising, a  ten episode podcast hosted by Global News (Canada). The 30-minute episode can be listened to here. Lin is featured in the second half, where he discusses how the U.S. economy and national security needs are intertwined with Taiwanese-manufactured semiconductors, and how this complicates Taiwan’s geopolitical position.
