The Taiwan Studies Program at the University of Washington proudly announces a recent agreement with Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE). A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco, aimed at enhancing the UW Taiwan Studies Program. MOE will support the Taiwan Studies Program for three years, beginning Autumn 2020. The funds will go towards expanding course offerings, laying the groundwork for undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Taiwan Studies, and a University of Washington Press scholarly monograph series on Taiwan Studies.
