Taiwan Studies Program at UW Converge – Taipei 2019

The Taiwan Studies Program at the University of Washington is excited to announce our involvement at this year’s UW Converge summit in Taipei, Taiwan, and to invite all alumni and community members to join us at Converge.

UW Converge is an annual international meeting of University of Washington alumni, and friends from all over the world. This year’s summit begins on November 9th with a theme on artificial intelligence, including lightning talks and followed by panel discussions on law, medicine, engineering, business, and technology that impacts the globe.

We are honored to be showcased at the conference in Taipei this year. Taiwan Studies Assistant Professor James Lin and Professor Jeff Hou will present on what the UW Taiwan Studies Program has been doing and is planning in the future to advance Taiwan Studies, and James Lin will also be discussing recent Taiwanese innovation in a panel on law and society.
