Remembering Peace Corps – Korea

December 3, 2020

From 1966 through 1981, the Peace Corps sent more than two thousand volunteers to South Korea, to teach English and provide healthcare. Returned Peace Corps volunteers and their colleagues share what it was like to live and work in South Korea during that time in the recently published Peace Corps Volunteers and the Making of Korean Studies in the United States (University of Washington Press).

The book can be purchased at the University of Washington Press website.
