The Jackson School graduate degree programs in East Asia are being reviewed to be updated into a new degree program: M.A. in East Asia Studies. This new M.A. degree is in the final approval stage and should be granted in the new year in which applicants will choose from various tracks of study, including China, Korea, Japan, and for the first time a Taiwan Studies track.
With final approval, the inaugural cohort will begin in AUTUMN 2025 (application cycle Autumn 2024 deadline is January 31, 2025). See more information at the JSIS Graduate Programs page where you may also make an appointment with an advisor.
