Booksori #89: The Birth of an Assembled Family [조립식 가족의 탄생]

Thursday, December 1, 2022, the University of Washington’s Tateuchi East Asia Library will host Booksori #89 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. PT. UW Tacoma Associate Professor Ji-Hyun Ahn, joins UW Korea Studies Librarian Hyokyoung Yi to introduce the Korean book titled “여자 둘이 살고 있습니다 (Two women living together)” by 김하나 (KIM Hana) & 황선우 (HWANG Son-u) and discuss about different types of family and living together, especially among women, in South Korea. Further investigating women’s diverse lifestyles, housing types/patterns, and collaborations in work, this talk will help illuminate the complexities of life as a woman in contemporary Korea.
