On August 16, 2024, Interim Associate Director of the Center for Korea Studies, Ian Oates, will end his time at the University of Washington.
Ian’s departure marks a sizable shift in staffing at CKS. Rather than hiring a specific Associate Director, JSIS will be implementing new staffing structures to support the Center with a diversified team.
