What EMIS class or experience stood out as particularly valuable?

“I think one of the greatest takeaways from the EMIS program for me was the opportunity to work with others from diverse professional backgrounds. I came to the EMIS program with a background in international education, so I did not have much opportunity to work with others from a military background, for example. The EMIS program changed all that for me. I learned from others with backgrounds in business, government, NGOs, and more. We shared classrooms, discussions, projects, and presentations together, ranging in topics from Cyprus to the South China Sea to the Arctic. I really learned about other perspectives of which I previously had no idea.”
