The UW Libraries’ student video contest asks students to create a short video showing what UW Libraries means to them. Long Tran, a graduate student in the Cinema and Media Studies department won first place with his video Access. Access explains how the libraries facilitate Long’s research into Hollywood’s representation of the Vietnam war, and his simultaneous exploration of his own heritage.
