Dr. Randall Kyes and Dr. Pensri Kyes lead research and field training in conservation biology around the world. They recently shared photos and a video from two July 2019 field courses in Conservation Biology and Global Health. The first took place on Tinjil Island, Indonesia, through a long running collaboration with IPB University in Bogor, Java, Indonesia. The Tinjil Island course was the 29th to come out of the IPB collaboration, and preparations are already underway for the 30th annual field course in summer 2020. Randall and Pensri also ran the 1st Field Course in Conservation Biology and Global Health in Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. This course emerged from a partnership with Tadulako University (UNTAD), in Palu.
The video is of the Tinjil field course, and was produced by a student, Tommy Langgeng Abimanyu “Abi”.
