Forced movement from one place to another, from what we know to what we don’t brings with it the displacement of our bodies, minds, and hearts. In his presentation, visual artist Yeggy Michael will reflect on how the experience of migration has shaped his art and identity. The presentation thus raises questions about how an immigrant’s multiple transitions – economic, political, cultural, and spiritual – can ultimately serve as a foundation for dialogue.
