“Mr Francis Abugbilla, a 33-year-old Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Student, has supported the Zebilla Hospital in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region with (PPE) and other hygienic materials to help fight the spread the Coronavirus disease.
The item, valued over GHC2,000.00, included two boxes of carbolic soap, two boxes of industrial bleach, five boxes of disposal nose masks, and a gallon of alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Mr Abugbilla is a native of Kpantarigu, a suburb of Bawku West District and is currently pursuing International Relations at Jackson School of International Studies, the University of Washington, Seattle, United States of America.
Mr Abugbilla said the items, which were presented by Mr Napoleon Akolgo, his friend, was made possible with the support of some friends in the USA.
He said the COVID-19 pandemic had caused havoc in many countries including Ghana and therefore it was imperative for a collective effort to be made to help fight the disease.”
