Your Support Makes a World of Difference

Give to Japan Studies! Your support helps the UW Japan Studies Program keep our commitment to excellence. Every gift impacts the program’s mission to increase understanding and knowledge of Japan in the world.  Your support helps our program grow and provides opportunities for research, academic exchange, study abroad, and an unsurpassed education in Japan and Japanese for undergraduate and graduate students.

Gift Online

Gifts may be made to UW Japan Studies online through the University of Washington’s secure website. A few of our gift funds will pop here there, but enter “JAPAN” as the search keyword for more options, and select whether you’d like to donate to scholarships, lecture series, or unrestricted gifts.

Gift via Check

Giving via check is possible by making checks payable to “University of Washington Foundation” (indicate specific fund name on the note line), and sending them to:

UW Center for Japanese Studies
