Conditions at the NWCD: Sanitation of Food & Laundry

As part of an ongoing multi-part investigation of human rights concerns at the Northwest Detention Center (NWDC) in Tacoma, WA, this report about sanitation of food and laundry at the detention facility reviews 3,240 pages of written grievances filed by people detained at the NWDC and 101 complaints submitted to to the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties from 2014-2019.
