Zoe DeGrande

About
Zoe DeGrande is a second-year Master’s student in the School of Marine and Environmental Sciences, building on her experience as an environmental community coordinator, Peace Corps volunteer, environmental consultant, and regulator. Currently, she is working under Professor Patrick Christie in partnership with Chief Leschi Schools in Puyallup, Washington. Her work focuses on collaborating with staff, students, and community members to further integrate a newly developed native food forest into the school’s curriculum and long-term planning. After graduate school, Zoe hopes to continue working with diverse communities on culturally grounded and climate-conscious projects.
