Perlita Martinez

Perlita is a first-year transfer student majoring in sociology and minoring in law, societies and justice. At UWCHR, she works alongside other undergraduate students as part of the Unfinished Sentences project doing FOIA work to investigate human rights violations in El Salvador. She is also a research assistant for a graduate student in the Sociology department, where she aids in researching Washington state drug possession policy. In her free time she likes being outside and going salsa social dancing.
