Marina Cavalli is a fourth-year undergraduate at the University of Washington, double-majoring in sociology and anthropology of globalization. She joined UWCHR in Fall 2025, participating in the Puyallup Family Data Reclamation Project, a project led by the Puyallup Tribal Historic Preservation Department in collaboration with Dr. Rocha Beardall to recover, digitize, and return archival records related to the Tribe’s experiences with the federal Indian boarding school system. In her spare time, she enjoys reading mystery novels, going to museums, and crafting.
