Allison Goldberg

Allison Goldberg's dissertation research on the movements for and against "progressive" prosecutors builds on previous research she conducted about ways locally-elected prosecutors can strengthen accountability for police violence. Here, she presented findings from that research to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, alongside Valerie Castile, the mother of Philando Castile, and John Choi, the prosecutor who charged the police officer who killed Philando Castile on July 6, 2016.
