About

Alicia Ing is a recipient of the Academic Year 2021-2022 Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship. Alicia is a second year undergraduate student at the Foster School of Business, pursuing her BA in Business Administration with a Certificate in International Studies in Business (CISB) and a minor in Diversity.

Growing up in a community abundant with racial and ethnic diversity, Alicia cultivated a passion for international mindedness and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) advocacy. As a first-generation college student and daughter of immigrants herself, Alicia plans to leverage her studies of the Chinese language in conjunction with business curriculum rooted in multicultural and global contexts. By simultaneously pursuing cultural and linguistic fluency as a FLAS fellow, Alicia hopes to one day champion representation for other women of color in business leadership, working in corporate social responsibility (CSR) or nonprofit management.
