I applied for the FLAS Fellowship to advance my language abilities and cultural acumen in preparation for future employment by a US firm in China. As a MBA Candidate, FLAS provides me a method to round out my business school education with international experience and abilities that will serve my career goals. My research interests include Chinese macro and micro economic landscapes, in particular to the effects on US manufacturing firms operating within the sphere of Chinese influence.
